Astronomy Club

Members participate in outreach efforts where high school students and teachers from the area are invited to use the observatory for stargazing and research.

Physics Club

The Physics Club incorporates student chapters of the Optical Society of America and the Society of Physics Students. Adelphi hosted the Society’s Zone 2 meeting in 2012, where our guest speakers were Brian Greene and Elna Nagasako.

Sigma Pi Sigma

Sigma Pi Sigma is the national physics honor society, which recognizes both academic achievement and scholarship.
